The recent meat and egg recalls are enough to make you want to smother everything you eat in some food-friendly version of antibacterial gel.

While recalls like this shouldn't be ignored, it's also important to remember that a lot of food-related health issues can start not just in far-off plants, but in our own kitchens.


Proper Egg Safety
This fragile food really does need to be handled with care. Too-high temperatures and even hairline shell fractures can truly dirty a dozen.
